Social Media Giant Facebook is again in News, this time because of a New Policy launched by Facebook to ban all the Misleading and fallacious advertisements related to Initial Coin Offerings, bitcoin, and other Cryptocurrency.
Facebook issued their statement on Crypto Ad ban in a Blog post outlining their new advertising principles had clearly mentioned that their platform will be longer support any deceptive ads related to ICO’s or Cryptocurrency and also mentioned those same instructions are applied on their partner platform Instagram.
Facebook is the most used Social media platform in the world and also a tool for business to reach their subject to the world using the platform. While many take advantage of this platform in unveiling false and misleading ads claiming sky-high Investment returns in order to lure General public, such ads considered as fraud and scamming activities. most of the users had likely encountered cryptocurrency ads on different social media sites.
