North Korea intends to organise a Global conference on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies in Pyongyang in October, US-based Radio Free Asia said on Saturday (Aug 25).
The first ever Korean International Blockchain Conference will be held over two-day beginning Oct 1, the report said by South Korean news organization Yonhap.
Yonhap, refering to RFA, said the occasion will bring together the experts in the cutting edge field from around the globe, and they will meet North Korean business authorities on Oct 3.
North Korea seems to need to flaunt its abilities in regards to such advancements, a security expert told RFA on the state of obscurity.
