XRP will Soon be Listed on Malaysia’s Biggest Cryptocurrency Exchange

  • XRP will become available to people of Malaysia either in December 2019 or at the beginning of 2020.

According to the latest news from an article in Malaysian Reserve, Cryptocurrency exchange Luno is looking forward to adding Ripple’s native XRP token to the platform and the exchange already decided that XRP will become available to people of Malaysia either in December 2019 or at the beginning of 2020.

Luno has been studying the potential of XRP and now wants to make the token available to purchase and sell on the exchange. Vijay Ayyar, Luno’s head in the Asian region said that what they can say at this is that they are planning to increase their cryptocurrency offerings as they grow while keeping customer’s safety and compliance with regulations as their highest priority.

Ayyar added that while Luno would be expanding its cryptocurrency offerings, the top priority will be for higher ethical standards.

His colleague, Luno’s South-East Asia manager David said that company’s mission is far higher than being crypto exchange as its main aim is to adopt the blockchain technology and help find use cases for digital assets, he believes that by Luno listing the demand growth will increase for XRP in Malaysia.

“Ripple also has a remittance that uses case which we were excited about. That’s the reason why we want to introduce it to Malaysian people, as ripple allows people on the platform to access and learn about it, find out the new ways to use this technology for their personal or business benefits.”

Lono said that it is very important for investors to analyze and understand the use case of each and every digital asset before investing in it, as different blockchains were designed that represent different blockchain technologies, which are designed for various purposes.
