D-Bank foundation and Thai bank Partnered up to issue Digital currency payment cards

The fourth-largest bank in Thailand kasikom Bank and D-BANK foundation have reached a strategic cooperation to produce a digital currency payment cards to support and recharge DBM so that the users can withdraw Thai baht from all most all ATMs in Thailand.

This cooperation between those banks will promote DBM’s payment applications landing in Thailand and lead to a strong foundation for the improvement of D-BANK’s Cross border travel payment business. Kai Tai Bank was one of the banks with significant market and had nearly 824 branches throughout Thailand and 17 offices in outer countries other than Thailand.

In September of 2019, Kai Tai Bank opened its first bank in Thailand. Banks using blockchain have announced their involvement in Visa B2B Connect pilot program to help payment through the Blockchain technology. This coordination between these two significant companies brings significant advantages to D-BANK system.

At first, DBM realizes about the exchange between digital currency and fiat currency, which strengthen DBM’s value attributes then after that cross border travel payment business of DBM’s has opened in Thai Market and will set Thailand to open digital currency cross border travel payment business in more countries.

The D-BANK Foundation and a large Korean financial institution namely KONA both jointly decided to go for a strategic cooperation to approve a DBpay payment card which can be recharged by using DBM and can be used all over Korea, like many other payment processes we can use this in duty-free shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes etc.

When it comes to cross border payment (travel) purpose, the D-BANK Foundation has also reached to maintain Coordination with JIE THAI TRAVEL GROUP, GINO Group, Osan City Government, South Korea, Sun NCK, Dream New zone, Rowan, Jplus cosmetics, SUIG GANG and Sea world to promote DBM’s payment in places like South Korea and Thailand.

The D-BANK payment foundation opened in many countries other than Korea like southeast Asia, Europe etc. The main aim of this is to create cross border payments for travellers in multiple states. The plans were on the way to establish this system in around 30 countries by the year 2020.
