Additionally, more than a dozen production capacity cooperation projects, which include the Ring Road, the Almaty State Solar Power Plant, had also been completed and put into operation.
Supercomputing centers, quality inspection laboratories, and other projects have progressed smoothly. Long-term Chinese banks have settled in Astana International Finance Centre, Asta. All this makes it quite evident that the economic cooperation between the two countries has produced brilliant results.
Zhang Xiao also mentioned that China and Kazakhstan’s first co-production film “Musician” had premiered and won several international awards.
Further, the total number of international students sent by the two sides accounts to more than 15,000 people, tightening the friendship between youths. There has also been cooperation in the fields of culture, science, technology, and media.
The second China-Kazakhstan Regional Cooperation Forum had also successfully carried out. Both the countries have high hopes for the year 2020 and wish to tighten this bond in the coming years.
Zhang Xiao also pins pointed out that politically, the two sides would consider the development of a permanent comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Kazakhstan. They also said to continue to maintain high-level and all-level exchanges, strengthen policy communication and coordination.
Zhang Xiao also pointed out that economically, they will continue to promote the integration of the “One Belt One Road” and Kazakhstan “Bright Road” new economic policies.
They would also promote the expansion and completion of 55 production capacity cooperation projects one by one and gradually expand the scale of trade, along with the increasing quality of business.
China is also willing to push more Kazakhstan goods into the Chinese market and would continue to provide Kazakhstan with the convenience of using Chinese ports to help Kazakhstan goods enter the Asia-Pacific market.
Zhang Xiao also stated that in terms of humanities, they would continue to expand personnel exchanges and non-governmental exchanges. They would also increase re-direct flights and the number of exchanged international students.
They would also aim at increasing the level of cooperation in the fields of education, technology, and other humanities. All this will continuously improve the mutual understanding of the substitute people, and also strengthen the mutual understanding between China and Kazakhstan.
In the international arena, both sides would uphold the spirit of re-establishing strategic cooperation. As further said by Zhang Xiao, it will be undertaken by the provisions of the China-Kazakhstan Neighbourly Friendship and Cooperation Treaty.
The mountains and rivers of China and Kazakhstan connected, only the lips and teeth are interdependent. Further, both have similar development goals, and the struggle paths are converging. Keeping all this in mind, good-neighborly friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation seem to be the only and optimal choices to reset relations.
