John McAffe, in his recent report, told that Bitcoin is a scam and shitcoin, and is placing his bets on altcoins instead. The serial entrepreneur was once a bull in the Bitcoin saga who predicted and foretold that Bitcoin would reach $500,000 in the intervening period of 2020 and later placing his bets that Bitcoin will reach $1 Million in price.
He made public announcements that he voted Bitcoin will not reach $1 million by the end of 2020; if it did, he vowed to eat his manhood. He finally said that all crypto is fake, and they are dependent on the altcoins for their performance and named Bitcoin as the true shitcoin.
McAfee, on his twitter handle, shared that whoever Bitcoin maximalist told that altcoins are shitcoins is brilliant. Still, McAffe said that the future of crypto coins rested in the hands or performance of the altcoins and said that Bitcoin is an absolute fake coin with no smart contracts, security, or decentralized applications.
There were many confused responses on McAffe’s twitter post against Bitcoin. Some responded, saying that he is playing cards for the upcoming presidential election in November.
Others said that he is trying to avoid public humiliation in case his before told prediction of Bitcoin reaching $1 million against USD might deliberately fail. Some of them believed that he is just switching sides to develop an elaborate hoax to mimic the public and crypto enthusiasts.
Bitcoin is, however, climbing with positive bulls of 3.79%, the monthly charts predict Bitcoin to break the resistance levels in the coming weeks and gaining new support levels.
It has currently slashed USD with $9,339.39 and continues the Bull Run. It has gained over 5% from yesterday and is expected a change of positive 10% by this weekend.
