The case of the violence faced by Bitcoin trader Tireed H that shocked the crypto community last year has surfaced in the media once again after the 39-year-old trader released a video outlining the assault and its present implications.
It previously is known that Tireed H was robbed and brutally tortured in his home around February last year. The new video, which was released by Dagblad van het Noorden, revealed that Tireed was “assaulted, waterboarded, had holes drilled in his leg and foot, and hung from his neck.”
On February 10th last year, Bitcoin trader Tireed H and his 4-year-old daughter were attacked by robbers who dressed as members of a police SWAT team in their Drenthe home.
Even though the young child was left unhurt, Tireed was reportedly harassed and tortured for more than an hour by the three attackers, the video revealed. The video has further disclosed the gruesome events that took place that day.
Tireed’s hands tied behind his back, and he hung from his neck. The bathtub was filled with water by the assaulters to drown him. Talking about the events that unfolded on a dark day, Tireed H said in the video, “Then they put the shower hose in my mouth and filled me with water.”
His pleas went unheard as the perpetrators drilled seven holes in his left leg and foot with a masonry drill. Tireed H further stated that he was beaten, kicked and that they threatened him by pointing a gun at his head.
Though a year has passed since the horrible dark day, Tireed H and his family are still not able to escape its shadows. They have been continuously threatened with dire consequences and are thus always in hiding. The video revealed according to the newspaper.
Further, Tireed H has had closed his Bitcoin trading company TravelFlex after the incident. Several people are trying to find him and hold him accountable for the money they lost due to the closure of the company.
He has continued to face the wrath of both investors and former employees who claim he is a fraudster, according to the Dagblad van het Noorded. They say that millions of Euros vanished into thin air overnight, and Tireed could not keep up his promises.
Some former employees are yet to receive their salary. However, Tireed H has firmly denied these allegations. Moreover, it is still unknown whether the attack had anything to do with the company he owned.
