Popular cultural icon and cryptocurrency enthusiast, William Shatner questioned Craig Wright’s authenticity to his claims as Satoshi Nakamoto. Shatner asks Wright to either put up proper evidence of him being Satoshi or just simply shut up.
The conversation started off when William Shatner said that he had just returned from a good time at the sixth episode of the Satoshi Roundtable, which took place from February 7-10. A Twitter user asked Shatner if fake Satoshi was present to which Shatner responded that he wasn’t aware of who fake Satoshi was.
Even Captain Kirk thinks this is highly illogical! @WilliamShatner https://t.co/wJNyfjZPtp

Upon further conversation in the thread, Shatner learned about Craig Wright and his ongoing court proceedings in the Dave Kleiman case. Shatner calls Wright’s claims of having the private keys to the “Tulip Trust” dubious at best, and if he really is Satoshi, he should be able to prove it with some form of simplistic proof.
The “Tulip Trust” that Wright mentions alleged to contain some of the first Bitcoin ever mined, whose private keys were supposed to be delivered to him via bonded courier.
Another twitter user stepped in and said that Wright is trying to prove possession in court, but this doesn’t necessarily have to indicate ownership. Shatner responds by saying that even most cryptocurrency enthusiasts don’t fully understand them, nevertheless courts.
He calls for Wright to, again, come out and provide legitimate proof to the world that he really is Nakamoto. A Twitter user then proceeds to ask Shatner why Wright would risk his reputation by going to court and trying too hard to prove he is Nakamoto if he really wasn’t.
Ask yourself why would someone claim to be Satoshi and offer zero proof? Either put up or shut up, right?🤔🤷🏼♂️ https://t.co/9wwBhnpcM5

The user then went on to state that even the Bitcoin (BTC) community has no real proof that Wright is not Satoshi. Shatner responded by asking back why anyone would claim to be Satoshi with zero genuine proof.
Calvin Ayre, a famous Bitcoin SV proponent, also responded to Shatner asking him to study property law and wait patiently as the evidence is going to come out from the court proceedings about Wright’s legitimacy as Satoshi Nakamoto.
Many have called Craig Wright a compulsive liar over the years, and others have worshipped him as the real Satoshi. Wright is seen by many as a smart and talented con man who has tricked some great minds into thinking that he really is Satoshi when he has time and time again failed to provide legitimate evidence for his claims.
Currently, the Dave Kleiman case has been proceeding in the court, and its developments have been sending strong shockwaves into the cryptocurrency markets.
The Kleiman estate has called for Wright to split 50% of all the Bitcoin he mined together with Dave Kleiman during the early days of Bitcoin if what he said is true about him being the real Satoshi.
Some of the first Bitcoin ever mined is known to be by Satoshi Nakamoto himself, and to this day, they remain untouched in his wallet without any movement. Wright has been making excuses about providing the payment over to the Kleiman estate.
At one point, when he announced that he now held the private keys to access the Bitcoin holdings, he sent strong shockwaves through the cryptocurrency world as Bitcoin SV prices moonshot over to become the 4th largest cryptocurrency. The prices soon dropped after a while due to Wright’s claims appearing questionable.
