Status is one of a kind App now available both on iOS and Android platform. It has released a beta version of the App originally named Status 1.0 which has the features of end to end messaging, highly secure Cryptocurrency Wallet and Ethereum enabled browser in a single Application.
The users have the advantage of using all these features simultaneously with the added advantage for users who can send Cryptocurrency in the messaging feature itself and not in a separately enabled chain. Since the App is working on a Beta version, the users are instructed to read the user’s manual and back up their assets to protect the same.
Ethereum based Communication App
Status V 1.0 and the core team have been working close to a year for more focused development and have reconstructed the core frameworks and application. It has managed to keep the promises of white paper or the original plan and has enabled the design to be prepared as the App of the future in which the status network delivers the promises of Ethereum at large.
The newly well-designed core mobile application is not the main focus of the status network but it is actually the enhanced decentralized network that the application is supported on.
This App is not only implementing a private and secure network for communication but also a path to already existing and adapting the ecosystem of Blockchain and distributed applications.
The developers of Status V 1.0 believes it holds the key to represent the status of future of the web, providing an internet gateway to hold human rights through a simple application which paves a path towards more open and equitable systems.
The core application is entirely built on Ethereum Network with ‘Whisper’ being the communication layer of status. However, the team has not made any significant changes to Whisper since its first embark three years ago.
The V 1.0 boasts SNT utility features like sticker marketplace and DApp directory. Others include fiat-to- crypto Teller Network with messaging focused integration of Talk, which is in its development phase.
