On 17th February 2020, the Enjin Platform went live on the Ethereum Mainnet. Enjin Platform is an all-in-one Blockchain development platform with its core feature being the ability to create, mint, and manage the next-generation of Blockchain assets.

What makes this platform unique is that you can use your mobile phone to deploy both fungible and non-fungible tokens by using the Web Panel of the platform.

The Web Panel is simple and provides an exceptional user experience with a minimal and straightforward design. To mint your first Blockchain asset, all you need to do is follow these four simple steps.

Creating a new Project

To create a new project on the Enjin platform, all you need to do is choose a name, upload an image, and provide a description for the project. This project could be anything a collection of digital art or a set of tokenized memes, a game, or even a web application. In case you want further help, Enjin also provides a guide to help you create your first project.

Link your Wallet

You can link your existing wallet to the Enjin platform without any need to follow complicated steps. You will need the Enjin wallet app on your phone and some ENJ or ETH to start the minting process. In the next step, you need to use your phone to scan the QR code, and your wallet will be linked.

Creating Assets

The next step involves Asset creation. Creating an asset doesn’t mean that it will become a part of the Blockchain. All you do is define some of the parameters such as name and image along with some complex variables like transfer fee and starting supply.

Blockchain assets made on the Enjin platform have two data types, first is on-chain data that includes name and value and the off-chain data that includes image and description.

ENJ per asset, supply model, asset type and melt value are on-chain variables that can not be changed once the item is created, produced or manufactured. In a way, they are digitally approved and fixated into the Blockchain for no definite time.

Mint Assets

The developers made the decision to keep the asset creation and to mint separated. The actual process of creating an asset involves voluntarily adding more ENJ to the minting supply, and then clicking a button.

By following these four steps, you start creating next-gen Blockchain assets.
