The Founder of DFJ Venture Capital, Tim Draper, has accused the chairman and the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway of bashing Bitcoin and being biased about it. The CEO of Euro Pacific Capital, Peter Schiff shared the news from the official peter Schiff twitter handle.
The news said that Tim Draper had accused the world’s richest investor, Warren Buffet, of being biased on bitcoin and also trying to bash Bitcoin because if Bitcoin succeeds, he stands to lose.
But this is not it, and it is not just Warren Buffet who might be biased and fearing a big loss. Tim Draper himself has invested heavily in something too. You could have guessed it, and it is Bitcoin.
Tim Draper has invested big in Bitcoin, so should he be accusing Warren Buffet of being bias about the lot when he himself is just trying to keep his investment afloat? Draper will suffer substantial losses if Bitcoin fails and if Buffet is right, so that doesn’t make him clean of being biased at all.
Peter Schiff, in reply to his original tweet, said, that why is Draper accusing Buffet of being biased? When you are living in a house made up of glass, you should not throw stones at others.
That sentence makes it very clear, and if you are yourself vulnerable and insecure and biased, then you should not accuse anyone else of being biased or afraid of what might happen in the future.
Bottom line being, both have invested in the rivaling assets, and both are a bit tense about it, but clearly, Draper just could not control his feeling and insecurities and has let the words fly without a second thought. But only time will now tell who wins what and who loses what.
