An Anti-tout blockchain ticketing service GUTS is now supplying it’s white label tickets to its partners in South Korea in order to create getTickets.
getTicket is going to launch in South Korea and is a new ticketing company that is based in South Korea is being brought in by GUTS by working together with the local partners. This is an anti tout and anti-fraud ticketing tech that is coming to Asia for the first time.
GUTS was founded in the year 2016 and it uses the blockchain-based GET protocol. The GET Protocol is used to register all the transactions and allows it’s organisers to be able to track each and every ticket bought and also alerts them to duplication or above face value resale. Every ticket bought through GUTS is registered to the buyer’s mobile cell phone.
The International Ticketing Yearbook of the year 2019 said that it has come up with a new tech that can prevent unwanted third parties intervening in the ecosystem, by committing fraud or touting, between the event organiser and the end consumer.
GetTickets to sell its first tickets with GUTS
GUTS said that their mission of becoming the worldwide standard for digital ticketing is nowhere near to complete as of now. It has already broken multiple blockchain ticketing records and most recently powering the sale for two 35,000 capacity shows by pop star Guus Meeuwis at the Phillips Stadium. It is also the official ticketing partner of the Dutch festival Oerrock. GUTS’ very first venture outside of the Netherlands is GetTickets.
The founder of the GUTS tickets, Maarten Bloemers, said that over the three and a half years since they sold their first ticket, the team has put a forth a world-class achievement and the fact that they are now at the global scale makes him incredibly proud.
