The all-new Antminer K5 is set to be released today at 11 am Beijing Time, K5 will support the Eaglesong Mining Algorithm.
The K5 Antminer features a hash rate of 1130 GH/s with a power consumption of 1580 Watts and the official data released says the Antminer will be ready for shipment from 1st of April to 15th.
This unveiled product will be the newest in the house with adaptive features to its predecessor mining rigs. Further details are yet to be heard if there are going to be variants on the K5 Antminer based on GPU and computing speed and power consumption. K5 comes with the new Eaglesong Mining algorithm, which is a new hash function of Nervos CKB.
Eaglesong mining can be obtained in both Nvidia GPUs and AMD GPUs, but it is more optimized to use the Nvidia GPUs because the framework of Nvidia supports powerfully to mine using Eaglesong Mining algorithm. Eaglesong Mining algorithm supports both Ethereum (ETH) and CKB mining.
Bitmain has been one of the prominent suppliers with industry efficient mining rigs of various hash codes globally, based out in Beijing, China. It also accepts custom builds of user-specific mining rigs with prior booking.
It uses a dedicated framework supporting a wide range of chipsets. The main mining rig subsidiary dedicated to Bitcoin mining and other altcoins is Antminer; however, it has two more subsidiaries under it, namely Antpool and Hashnet.
There are various series of miners under Antminer each distinctive in each case, but many have been terminated from production with the replacement of new and updated versions.
A few days ago Bitmain launched there yet powerful mining rig of the Series Antminer named S19 which has two variants, and the basic S19 does mining at the rate of 95 TH/s while the S19 Pro clocks at 110 TH/s.
