Dogecoin From Jokecoin to Elon Musk’s Favorite Crypto
The aforementioned cryptocurrency was invented by Jackson Palmer and Billy Markus as a joke but later, the Dogecoin became a popular gag element in the crypto ecosystem.
This Dogecoin carries a symbol of a Japanese dog breed Shiba Inu and was introduced as a “joke currency” on December 6, 2013. The language around the coin says “wow, such coin, many profits,” that made its popularity to touch with a market capitalization of US$60 million in January 2014.

The statement conveyed by Musk showed his immense affection for Dogecoin. Once, Musk has changed his Twitter bio with a Dogecoin picture revealing himself as the CEO of Dogecoin.
Also, he tweeted “throw a dogecoin to your witcher,” but later he deleted it shortly after posting his words.

This has been many times when Musk didn’t waste a single point to spoke about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin in his unusual way. This was best illustrated by once he tweeted, “Cryptocurrency is my safe word,” and later adding to it “Bitcoin is not my safe word.”
Many times Musk has kept his views regarding Bitcoin saying it is the best option for replacing cash in terms of allowing illegal actions but, that doesn’t make it the main system of payment globally.
Musk’s love for Dogecoin shows that he has reserved it as a replacement for Bitcoin.
