According to the Weiss Crypto rating on Twitter, Cryptokitties has decided to leave from the Ethereum collaboration to develop its own Blockchain named ‘Flow Blockchain’ as the Ethereum Blockchain has not scaled yet.
Cryptokitties aims to develop a faster Blockchain which will require less number of valuators, and the intention accordingly is to launch a new Blockchain when the tokens can be issued for cash. The team behind Cryptokitties and its parent organization Dapper Labs launched Flow Playground, which is an interactive platform that allows the developers to experiment with creating non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and also smart contracts on the company’s’ new Flow Blockchain.
The main reason why Cryptokitties has walked away from the Ethereum platform is to reach a wider audience and increase engagement, which can be adapted on the new Flow Blockchain but on the Ethereum Blockchain. Previously the Ethereum Blockchain was limiting the participation on a set of nodes that did not meet the required goal of teams Blockchain definition.
