Bittorrent’s official twitter handle released a new DLive community update stating DLive now has a new global partner ‘GooseWayneBatman’ through which a successful Fortnite campaign was conducted previously. DLive also announced that the next campaign of Fortnite Friday 2 would be launched on the 20th of March.
DLive being content sharing community platform powered on Blockchain technology, the sharing, and viewing of the contents such as videos and live streams as according to the Fortnite launch on the DLive platform is impeccable, and the streaming occurs seamlessly.
The collaboration of DLive and BitTorrent occurred at the start of this year, DLive is a Blockchain platform known for its streaming services which are now powered by BitTorrent and Tron Foundation.
The collaboration aims to work together to upgrade the Blockchain system and peer to peer (P2P) content sharing, including live streaming inside the BitTorrent community as well as other connected platforms.
DLive mainly consists of experienced content creators and editors with a head-turning rewards system.
Both the viewers and the content distributors get the advantage of winning tokens for their activity on the DLive platform for which this activity is in complete contrast to traditional centralized individual platforms, which cut down 50% of the revenue from the content creators.
To adapt and ease the flow of contents in this big community, DLive will use the BitTorrent File-Sharing System (BTFS), which is capable of distributed file sharing and storing of the same.
This will not only help the community to view the contents easily but also help the DLive platform to achieve more decentralization fitting to the actual definition of the platform. BTT (BitTorrent Token) is the token of reward on the DLive platform, and the further introduction of Tron as the reward token is still under development.
