The Ontology platform has released an updated version of the authenticator with the version code v2.6.0 where the users now can create a P2P claim or make a public declaration to a friend or group with the users’ unique ID of the digital wallet. This is the key feature of the new update release.

The official handle of the Ontology account on Twitter made the public announcement regarding the launch today. The integration of the P2P claim in the Ontology Authenticator enables people to people, things to things, and affairs to affairs to authenticate and authorize each other as per the data given.

The procedure for the P2P claim is described in short and simple procedures. Still, the users who wish to get access to this new feature should previously have an installed ONTO app on smartphones or should have website access and should be logged in with ONT ID Digital Identity Wallet.

The steps involved in the P2P claim are described below:

The user, after finishing the required pre procedures in the installing and procuring a new ID for the Digital Identity Wallet. The user is required to click on the ONT ID name seen in the ONT ID page then the user is required to click on the red squared button below and give the information in written format regarding the type and description of the claim.

After filling in the necessary information, the user is asked to verify the claim and is placed with the option to invite others to endorse the claim. The third-party claiming feature is done through the QR code scan, which the company is working on and soon will be an available feature.

Similarly, the Endorsement procedure follows simple steps which are followed as follows. The user is required to enter the ONT ID page and click on the little icon on the right corner.

The details regarding the previous claim can be viewed and below, in which the user can see the ‘Endorse Now’ option, which should be clicked to pay the transaction fee, which then completes the claim and endorsement.
