Today, the DeCurret announced that it has begun offering an API for spot and leverage trading at the company’s cryptocurrency exchange DeCurret commencing from March 28.
Trading would be programmatically by using API
With the utilization of API, one could automatically trade BTC and other virtual currencies programmatically. The API will be a private API that can be used more than a basic account which will utilize the currency exchange function such as spot transactions after the identity verification under the exchange.
The detailed features are revealed in the API document along with the launch. The sample code for Node.js, Java, Ruby, and Python is also provided in the document.
The key functions available through the API are, Currency pairs/stock information, Rate information, charts, Orders: New, Settlement, Cancel, Open Interest Information, Order/execution history, and Fund status, balance.
Flawless trading
Until now, the exchange’s physical or leverage trading services work on manual trading that is either from PC or an app. The introduction of API will lead to a more flawless trading environment which will be based on the customer’s way of trading.
The API services would be provided to those customers who have opened an account with DeCurent’s basic account *2 or higher.
