On March 30, bitFlyer Holdings and its fully-owned subsidiary bitFlyer replaced over half of the management team and restructured its management with the appointment of representative director and director Kimihiro Mine.
The management substituted three out of five members
On the 23rd, Mine was working as an interim representative of bitFlyer, currently, he has appointed as the representative directors of the two aforementioned companies.
The other management appointment includes Yasushi Ichimori, the former BitFlyer’s executive director will be now the board of directors of the two companies, adding to this a former executive managing officer of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Masayuki Shimura has been appointed as a member of the Audit and Supervisory Committee of both the companies.
At bitFlyer Holdings, the management members consisting of representative directors, directors, and audit and supervisory committee members have been replaced. That means three out of five members of management have been substituted.
The revised management team
bitFlyer revised its management by adding two directors to make it seven members management committee. The following new management framework is ready to operate from March 30 for bitFlyer Holding; Representative Director: Kimihiro Mine, Director: Yasushi Ichimori, Directors who are Audit and Supervisory Committee members: Masayuki Shimura, Keigo Omi, Osamu Higuchi.
The management system consists of following members for bitFlyer; Representative Director: Kimihiro Mine, Directors: Yasushi Ichimori, Masaaki Seki, Yuji Baba, Audit and Supervisory Committee members: Masayuki Shimura, Takafumi Ochiai, Ryuji Miura.
Mine is serving as a director and executive officer of Matsui Securities, SBI Securities, Monex Securities, and others. He was an executive officer of the exchange coin check in 2018. Since Mach 2019, he serves as a member of bitFlyer and as per career contour, Mine is measured as a specialist in risk management in finance and cryptocurrencies.
