Ben Radclyffe, who was a Managing Director at Tower Research Capital is now appointed as the Commercial Director of HDR Global Trading Limited, operator of the BitMEX cryptocurrency-products trading platform. This came to light after BitMEX made this announcement earlier on April, 8, 2020. Ben also has a 20-year background in finance and trading technology including 17 years of experience in investment banking at Deutsche Bank and UBS.
HDR Global Trading is one of the fastest growing and successful companies in the cryptocurrency and fintech space. It serves thousands of customers transacting billions of USD per day through the BitMEX platform. In addition, BitMEX is credited for the invention of the most traded cryptocurrency swap product of all time, the XBTUSD perpetual swap product.
BitMEX says that Ben is being assigned the responsibility for Financial Products, and Business & Client Development, stressing the significant new role Ben has been offered with. It also added that Ben will report directly to Arthur Hayes, CEO.
