A community manager at Reddit MagoCrypto that creates censorship-resistant websites posted the video, which appears as a beta implementation of the system.  While going through the FAQ section of the wallet features, the pages on distribution, wallet, backup, and recovery, and the blockchain could be seen.

This video, which not yet proved, highlights that Reddit might be testing by utilizing blockchain or cryptocurrency-related posts.

The Redditor MagoCrypto penned on Reddit that as he opened his app yesterday morning, he came through a ‘wallet’ menu option. When he explored it, he finds ‘blockchain’ which made him excited to share with the users.

Users can collect points

Looking at the significant features of the cryptocurrency wallet is that users can collect points. However, each user will have their blockchain address where one can see their accumulated points.

In the FAQ tab, there is a section called “Tipping and Transfers.” This advises that the points can be transferred to other Redditors and, in return, will gain value, which must be probably in cryptocurrency.  Though, it’s a question mark whether the points can be sent outside the app.

A blockchain-based ecosystem on Reddit will prove a great step towards conventional implementation. Moreover, Reddit is a popular source of information for crypto ventures.

It’s a one-stop place for several crypto communities that include r/Bitcoin has over 1.4 million members and r/Cryptocurrency with 994,000. It seems that Reddit users consider themselves as technology admirers.
