Samsung pay has extended its service support by allowing Swipe Visa cardholders to transact with their convenient cryptocurrency. Swipe is one of the popular platforms allowing transactions through cryptocurrency Visa Cards. This partnership providing convenient opportunities to crypto users was announced on May 1. The collaboration enables the users to facilitate such payments through Samsung Pay-enabled devices.

According to recent reports, the platform has become the first to provide Multinational support to payment network giants Google Pay and Samsung Pay. Such integration has resulted in an increase in the user base. This is because Swipe cardholders in the United Kingdom and the European Union can facilitate transactions to around 50 Million global locations. And hence, this is possible by using the available balance in their respective crypto-accounts.

John Kenneth, COO of Swipe™, has reportedly claimed the organization’s partnership with Samsung was made through the mutual issuing bank, Contis Financial. In fact, the integration process started to take phase once Visa approved the firm with respect to a digital card program. In addition to their physical card program a few months back. From the very moment of approval, the integration process continued to take shape. Kenneth added that they are planning to take benefit from Samsung’s user base, which has educated its users through its blockchain initiatives. Thus this will result in impacting the user base of Swipe directly.

The need of the hour

The COO also highlighted a tremendous increase in the user base of Google Pay’s services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This, according to Kenneth, will be a perfect opportunity for digital payment platforms like Google Pay and Samsung Pay to outshine conventional payment methods. In addition to bringing awareness about such services to the locales. The reason behind the same is people around the world are restraining themselves to pay by means of physical cash.

Besides him, Loselito Lizarondo, Swipe’s CEO, remarked that in these times digital solutions will come in handy to clients’ needs. As common people are deviating from physical assets like cash.

The next step

The future endeavors of the platform include plans of going live in Southeast Asia by the end of the year. The statement was also accompanied by the disclosure in relation to their recent U.S approval. This will become a significant mark in the organizations’ history. As this could be the event determining the potential of the platform on a global basis.
