The fintech industry has been facing an increasing need for training in the digital asset sector. So the Crypto bank, SEBA, based in Switzerland made an attempt at covering the expanding skills gap. The Swiss Bank launched a blockchain and cryptocurrency themed university courses. Furthermore, these educational programs are non-profit in nature.

One of the top licensed and supervised banks is SEBA to work with the cryptocurrency industry. They manage the secure trading of digital assets and cryptocurrencies. Moreover, they received their banking license towards the end of 2019.

This is an opening for financial organizations to forge ties with academic institutions. Especially since big firms are competing for the next big thing in technology.

Cooperation with Universities

SEBA has tied up with three universities to carry on its educational courses. Namely, The Frankfurt School Blockchain Centre, the University of Zurich, and the Lucerne University of Applied Science and Arts.

Currently, the lessons are taking place online via Webinars. The expectation is, after Covid-19, SEBA can arrange for walk-in lessons at their headquarters in Zug. The courses are designed according to the needs of both beginners and crypto-natives. Additionally, the program is for private individuals as well as companies.

The Programme is now called ‘SEBAverity’ after its partnership with the ace educational institutions.
