The official youtube channel of Bitcoin.com was banned by the leading video streaming platform Youtube. However, this news was revealed on Bitcoin.com’s official handle on Twitter.

Bitcoin.com shared an appeal letter on Twitter

Recently, the popular video streaming platform has delivered a strike notice to bitcoin.com. However, a letter shared by Bitcoin.com on Twitter that describes an appeal letter to YouTube over banning of the channel.

Going through the appeal letter, it is assumed that YouTube has banned the channel due to a violation of YouTube’s Terms of Services.

Moreover, the Bitcoin.com addressed that it could be done by political opponents. That has abused the YouTube reporting mechanism to bring down the channel.

Further moving on this issue, the Bitcoin.com founder Roger Ver pointed out that there are ample of giveaway scams running on YouTube with featuring fake celebrity endorsements. Such as Elon Musk’s recent YouTube channel ban was one of the reasons for fake accounts and fraud activities.

Youtube’s Unofficial War Against Crypto Community

This is not the first time, Bitcoin and crypto are experiencing a channel ban issue. Many significant YouTubers like Ivan on Tech, Tone Vyas, and Chris Dunn channels have been severely affected. By the policy violation factor and finally suspended from the platform.

A month ago, YouTube banned one of Bitcoin.com’s video that was pertaining to the mining pool. While YouTube banned the video by saying it was violating the ‘sale of regulated securities’ policy. However, the reports claimed that removing Bitcoin.com’s mining videos pointed out that YouTube does not have the interests of global citizens.

It seems that YouTube has a hidden grudge for the crypto community as the platform continues to shadow restriction on cryptocurrency reporting.
