On June 18th an open-source XRP wallet for Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows, Toast Wallet revealed that it was shutting down. However, Toast cited this issue as an abysmal treatment by Ripple’s developers.
Toast Removed From App Stores
A recent post on Twitter is a hot discussion at press time about Toast Wallet. According to the post, Toast Wallet has been removed from the App Stores of smartphones. In protest at the abysmal treatment by Ripple’s community developers.

It further added, existing Toast installs will continue to work and funds are safe. However, the firm is looking for a clear and transparent community developer support program from XPRing.
The wallet has not yet clear about the actual issue pertaining to Ripple’s bad attitude. Moreover, reports assume that allegations of “abysmal treatment” may be due to a lack of funding for Toast. Through XPRing which is Ripple’s investing arm.
The Awful Treatment Is Due To Lack Of Funding For Toast
Besides this, in 2019, XPRing invested in XRPL, a Netherland based firm. After its investment, XPRing has designed a financial platform XUMM which carries a wallet and payment platform.
Further, responding to the tweet of Toast Wallet, the founder of XRPL Wietse Wind stated that he feels sorry for this issue. As the first XRP wallet he ever used was Toast. Users are giving their flip-flop replies concerning the time it will take to transfer the funds.
