The owner and CEO of Tesla (electric car manufacturers) and SpaceX, Elon Musk, has denied the rumors of him collaborating with Ethereum blockchain. Crypto fanatics know him as Dogecoin ‘advocate,’ as his favorite coin was Dogecoin. However, now he seems talking about Ethereum and Bitcoin as well.

On 2nd July, he tweeted that he Isn’t building anything on Ethereum. The tweet also stated that he is neutral in his perspective about Ethereum i.e. he had nothing for or against it, he neither use or own any.
The Techie’s Response to the Movie Star
The passing of the time has made it very evident that the Canadian actor, William Shatner, is a promoter of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. On the 10th of May 2019, he tweeted that Vitalik Buterin (founder of Ethereum blockchain) and Elon Musk were having debates on what to build on Ethereum and that he had waited long and patiently for this time.
The aforementioned tweet from Elon Musk was in response to this actors tweet who had tagged them both, Vitalik Buterin and Musk. Only last year the actor had tweeted that Vitalik Buterin and Musk were his friends and that the latter used Ethereum. This is the reason why Elon Musk forced to join the debate and negate the false news of him using Ethereum.
Many Firms Working on Ethereum Blockchain
Elon Musk may not be working on Ethereum but there are many other high-profiled firms and companies who are working on it. According to Adam Cochran, who is a partner in Metacartel Ventures, there are Fortune 500 companies heading towards Ethereum as per his analysis.
He looked into the top 100 ETH wallets (by size) and observed that these wallets were associated with ‘major players’ like JP MORGAN CHASE, Reddit, IBM, etc. and so conclusively he stated that they were accumulating ETH.
Some of these companies have been working on blockchain projects and hence on their disposition to amass the cryptocurrency. However, it remains to be seen whether Musk will follow these firms or not.
