Also, as the co-founder of EOS Alliance. He has funded various blockchain companies as well as prominent among them is Block.One (EOS Parent Company), Blockchain Capital, and Tether. His business ventures with all the companies he has found have raised an amount of over $5 billion in total.

Prior to Pierce’s announcement for the presidential run, Kanye West the American rapper made a similar announcement. This makes Pierce the second biggest influencer in the crypto industry to run for the US Presidential elections. Previously, John McAfee the founder of the McAfee associates had also launched a campaign. However, he couldn’t get past the Libertarian Party’s 2020 primaries. Later, Joanne Marie Jorgensen, or mostly referred to as Jo Jorgensen, a libertarian political activist won the nomination.

However, Pierce’s website lacks detail and is full of credentials. It is still unclear whether he is looking for a similar nomination from a political party or will be running independently. Moreover, there’s no clarification of Pierce’s point of view on any social issue or American political issue. As of now, Pierce hasn’t been yet listed as a candidate for the 2020 elections as per the Federal Election Committee website. This may be because of his sudden and last-minute announcement.
