According to Chinese media reports, Tongji University launched the world’s first blockchain international journal – the IET blockchain.
This international journal will be a milestone and be remembered for its open accessibility. The British Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) launched this open journal blockchain in cooperation with Tongji University. The same was released on the occasion of the Cloud Summit of the 2020 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. The Shanghai Blockchain Application Service Engineering Technology Research Center (SERCBAAS) also has a major role in developing this principle innovation and up-gradation of the blockchains.
The most important feature of this blockchain is it’s open access, meaning researchers all around the globe can download and read the research results published in journals that too free of any costs.
Both, Tongji University and SERCBAAS put in a lot of effort to develop this pioneering technology. They published critical research papers, marked technological innovations, and also the latest viewpoints related to the basic theory of blockchain.
Details of the IET
The IET blockchain, designed and edited by Professor Liu Erwu of Tongji University, unifies blockchain executive and authoritative experts from all around the world. Subsequently, they form the editorial board. This board is responsible for the submission of the review of eight major sectors of the blockchain field. Eventually, they’ll work on establishing a complete journal for academic exchange and discussion for researchers in the international blockchain.
Road Ahead for the Blockchain
Professor Liu Erwu stated that they would make complete and efficient use of accumulated academic strength to make this blockchain a key discipline in the formulation and adaptation of the national strategies. Many of the Universities have invested huge amounts in the research and development of this blockchain and the Professor doesn’t aim to undermine and fail them in this endeavor.
