YouTube Has An Aggressive Past With Channels Related To Cryptocurrency
However, this isn’t the first time that YouTube shut down a cryptocurrency news channel. YouTube has aggressively shut down many videos and channels related to cryptocurrency. There are many similar instances in the past, where channels were accused of spreading illegal content when they weren’t. Even the renowned cryptocurrency news agency, CoinTelegraph recently became a victim of this strange behavior from YouTube when it’s recent Livestream on the Twitter hack was pulled down.
Some Crypto Channels Were Completely Shutdown
Some channels, including Crypto Beadles, were completely shut down where YouTube said that it was due an error during the review process. IN June, YouTube had taken down the official channel of Bitcoin.com yet again for violating YouTube’s terms of service. However, after a similar appeal, the YouTube channel with 40k subscribers was restored within two days. Similarly, the owners of the BTC Sessions had also experienced a similar inconvenience where their channels were shut down for a day.
