  • ATM was on the northern side of the massive complex of Gigafactory, which is also known as the world’s largest building
  • Elon Musk has shown a doubt through a tweet mentioning that he doesn’t think that the claimed report is accurate

A recent tweet from a twitter user, named Will Reeves, revealed that while he was randomly passing through google maps he found a Bitcoin ATM in Tesla’s Gigafactory at Nevada.

According to google maps, the ATM was on the northern side of the massive complex of Gigafactory, which is also known as the world’s largest building.

The Chief Executive Officer of Tesla denies report

Elon Musk, the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Tesla, has shown a doubt through a tweet mentioning that he doesn’t think that the claimed report is accurate, while replying to a news site tweet Teslarati, but since then the tweet has been deleted.

Elon is a known advocate of cryptocurrency though he claims that he only has 0.25 BTC. Once in past Elon Musk was also speculated as the Bitcoin’s anonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto

Is there really a Bitcoin ATM present in the factory?

According to Finbold, a news outlet, the ATM was installed by LibertyX who claims to have over 5000 crypto ATMs across the United States and approximately 20,000 shops to provide BTC buying services.

According to LibertyX, the company has partnered with two largest ATM manufacturers namely Hyosung and Genmega to install Bitcoin services in traditional ATM’s, so the users could use their debit card to buy BTC easily nationwide. LibertyX also mentioned that they truly have installed 3 ATM’s inside the factories complex.

Purpose of the Bitcoin ATM inside Gigafactory in Nevada

According to LibertyX the ATM was installed there for only executives and employees of the Tesla group to buy Bitcoins easily through using their debit cards. This ATM has been live in the Gigafactory since August.

Now there is one question remaining, that, why the CEO of the company who is an advocate of cryptocurrencies, also has shown doubt about the report when the company LibertyX has accepted that it has installed those ATM’s. However, alternatives to crypto exchanges and banks, Bitcoin’s ATM’s are the most convenient means to purchase Bitcoins comfortably and safely.

We can speculate that whether Elon Musk is promoting crypto’s secretly among its employees or is there something big being cooked, that will bring a big change in the crypto economy. The future is unpredictable and for now there is no such exact report against these claims whether they are truth or lies.
