- Last month Propeller Insights conducted a survey that results that half of the American’s are already using cryptocurrency
- The result seems shocking as last year only about 6% and 9% of the total American population were using cryptos
- Observing the answers creates doubts about whether the survey was performed with fake data
Last month a survey, SatoshiLabs’ Cryptocurrency Survey was conducted by Propeller Insights on behalf of Satoshi Labs. The American online survey consisted of 1,004 U.S. consumers, with a minimum age of 13 years. The representatives were asked several searching questions about cryptocurrencies. Indeed, it revealed that around 45.8% of the candidates among them claimed that they already own cryptocurrencies.
Crypto seems to be usual, normal, and popular in America
According to the survey report, crypto is already popular among 45.8% of the US population. With the claim, crypto can be now compared with the great populist Donald Trump, as Trump was voted by 46.8% of the American residents. Another hand, the report revealed that 95% of the respondents who already use cryptocurrencies were quite happy with digital currencies being a natural form of currency.
Among the total respondents, 31.7% answered that cryptocurrencies are a legitimate alternative to cash. 28.3% of them want to learn more about crypto space. Most importantly, 74% of the respondents who don’t own any virtual currency, considered that in future they would like to get some.
What’s shocking about the survey report results?
Although the stats are positive and represented that individuals are interested in the space. According to the survey report from PRNewswire and Medium, last year only 6% and 9% of the total population of the United States has the ownership of virtual currencies. Indeed, last year’s report seemed a certain sort of reality. It seems like several individuals are fascinated towards virtual assets, but they aren’t sure whether to touch them or not, but the current report has changed the whole view.
The survey report result have created doubts
According to the recent release of ZDNet, if we delve deeper in the report, there are several doubts observed in the report. At the first place, when the survey asked the respondents why to consider cryptocurrency, the answers were because it’s a good way to earn money. Secondly, 43% of the respondents have no opinions regarding cryptocurrencies. And third is 31.2% of the respondents planning to give cryptos as Christmas gifts. However, observing these answers from the survey, it seems like the survey was performed on behalf of SatoshiLabs or may be relevant to consider that the minimum age group was thirteen.
