Hyundai plunges into Blockchain Tech.
With the vision of advancing in the technical sector, Hyundai has started this unique plan in collaboration with Blockchain. They developed a software system called MAPS (Most Advanced Parts System) that takes Artificial Intelligence. This brand-new platform will also come into force for distribution after-sales parts for models like Hyundai and Kia.
Due to this strategy, 100,000 employees will have control and access the system across the supply chain. It also includes overall 16,000 dealers across seven seas of the world. IT management will take care of 300 different car models and their parts.
Using DLT to tackle their Automotive parts
Specially Hyundai has mentioned that using a distributed ledger technology (DLT) can handle their verification situations. MAPS(Most advanced parts system) will be used for transparency of distribution after-sales. In addition to this software, Hyundai has also decided to use an embedded QR code on its packaging of spared car parts so that any car owner can easily verify all the car parts to get a satisfaction of originality. Through this approach, every vehicle will be stored in a distributed ledger manner.
Hyundai has especially taken care of their car owners and stakeholders to get a positive signal after checking that their car parts are original. Hyundai has also said that it will use blockchain technology to maintain their cars and other models in a whole lifetime.
Blockchain usage with MAPS has enabled Hyundai to provide a sense of originality to their loyal customers. Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz and Daimler AG have also started to use DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) to fast forward the security process. This step has started to create a new era in the automobile industry.
