ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands, March 4, 2021, 10:00 AM UTC – Bitfinex, a state-of-the-art digital token trading platform, has expanded the range of market data services available to algorithmic traders with the launch of snapshots of historical funding book data on Bitfinex Terminal.
The launch of historical funding book data adds to the range of advanced tools available to Bitfinex customers, enabling the analysis of trading data and the backtesting of ideas to power algorithmic trading strategies.
Historical funding book data, which consists of snapshots taken every 5 seconds, is the second set of premium data available on a pay-as-you-go basis on Bitfinex Terminal, following the earlier launch of historical exchange order book data.

Query time for historical funding book data can be purchased with bitcoin via the Lightning Network (LN-BTC), Tether tokens (USDt), or UNUS SED LEO, at a rate of US$0.02, 100 satoshi or 0.0015 UNUS SED LEO per hour, per dataset.
Furthermore, Bitfinex customers can also leverage another advanced tool, the Honey Framework, to backtest trading strategies with data from Bitfinex Terminal. The framework, which integrates natively into the Bitfinex trading platform, functions as a powerful tool that spans across the programming languages NodeJS and Python, enabling users to create custom order types or event-driven automated trading strategies. Bitfinex traders deploy algorithms on the Honey Framework to exploit rapid price fluctuations in bitcoin, Ethereum, and other leading cryptocurrencies.
Bitfinex Terminal is a real-time market data feed that allows users to backtest trading ideas that can power trading strategies. Public trade data and funding statistical data are also available to access for free through Bitfinex Terminal.
