Gemini is a regulated crypto assets exchange, wallet, and custodian service provider. Recently, the exchange has announced that it achieved a new all-time high in crypto under custody. The firm has surpassed the benchmark level of $25 billion worth of cryptocurrency under custody. With the new achievement, it is also observed that the assets under custody have doubled since January 2021. Though, the exchange has experienced impressive growth in the cryptocurrency market.
Gemini is offering a range of crypto services
Gemini offers a range of cryptocurrency tools and capital market services. On the exchange platform, users can store a variety of virtual assets. Moreover, with storing, the users can also withdraw the assets anytime, move them to sub-accounts, and trade on Gemini’s exchange. On the other side, the users can stay insured while storing their hard-earned money with the exchange.
Gemini also has a broader range of services for its institutional clients. Such services include qualified custodian, SOC1 and SOC2 type compliant, offline cold storage, hardware security keys, and approved address list.
The exchange rolled out Gemini Fund Solutions last month in addition to the custody features. The latest solution offers fund managers a more comprehensive range of tools to help managers expand their crypto funding services.
Gemini’s growth is impressive
With a range of products, Gemini has attracted several institutional clients. Such clients also include crypto trading service providers, hedge funds, digital assets managers, and other corporate treasuries. According to the exchange, its custodial service is being used by a few of the world’s prominent asset managers. Such asset managers also include BlockFi, Blockchange, DAiM, and WealthSimple.
Simultaneously, the participation of such institutional clients has helped the firm grow more. Currently, the exchange is overseeing $25 billion worth of crypto assets on its platform. According to Gemini’s statement, the digital assets have more than doubled under its custody since the beginning of this year.
