Bitfarm Nasdaq Global Market Under the ticker, BITF
As per Coindesk, the Canadian miner’s common stock will list in the Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker BITF. Bitfarms stock on the TSX Venture Exchange, formerly known as BFARF, will also be known as BITF.
Once Bitfarms is done with the last step of the listing process, i.e., the shares are cleared for electronic settlements through the Depository Trust Company (DTC), the BITF shares will be available for trading.
GlobeNewsWire.com quoted Emiliano Grodzki, Bitfarms’ Chief Executive Officer, as saying. “The approval for listing on The Nasdaq Global Market® is an incredible achievement for Bitfarms and is the fruition of multiple years of work and dedication.”
First Bitcoin Mining Company to be listed in the Nasdaq Global Market Tier
Founded in 2017, the Bitcoin mining company has shown tremendous growth and carried out numerous stellar operations. Bitfarms became the first company ever to complete its long-form prospectus with the Ontario Securities Commission.
Moreover, after the approval, the company becomes the first bitcoin mining company to announce its stock listings in the Nasdaq Global Market Tier.
The tier demands specific financial liquidity and requirements, which Bitfarms has apparently fulfilled.
Most Bitcoin miners are listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market, a lower level tier.
This indicates that Nasdaq validates Bitfarms operations which again is a big thing for the company. Emiliano Grodzi, the Chief Executive Officer of Bitfarms, said that Nasdaq’s approval was a tremendous achievement. It was the result of the last four years of constant hard work.
