- Bitcoin users are terrified by Ether surging past their number one position
- Ether users also overwhelmed by the desire to overtake Bitcoin
- Hayes has disdain for the dogma associated with both the crypto giants
Bitmex’s CEO
Arthur Hayes, the American entrepreneur, trader, and CEO of BitMex, feels that the chance of Ether overtaking Bitcoin(BTC) and becoming number one is 0%. Arthur was answering a message from Su Zhu of Three Arrows. Later after going through Raoul Pal’s May 2021 edition of the Global Macro, he changed his views and gave Ether a 30% chance of overtaking Bitcoin.
Hayes founded BitMex in 2014, and it is headquartered in Seychelles. He is an avowed bitcoin advocate and said that cryptocurrencies like BTC and digital fiat money controlled by banks would ultimately lead to the creation of two currency systems.
He contends that the Bitcoin community is obsessed and terrified because one day, Ether will overtake their beloved BTC. Hayes has a disdain for Bitcoin, which believes that it is the omnipotent, omnipresent, and the monetary god of cryptocurrency, and all the other smaller entities are secondary. He holds Ether diehard fans also equally responsible and always engulfed in an ever-present desire to surge past BTC.
Arthur Hayes has always maintained that this dogma with both the leaders of cryptocurrencies must be overcome. What is more important is the fundamental vision of both cryptocurrencies. It is only then anyone can make a realistic judgment.
In his website cryptohayes.medium.com, Hayes contended that US investors are filled with an overpowering emotion of greed and fear. He adds that desire can make humans accomplish impossible things; fear of loss dwarfs everything.
