And now Shirzad is expected to help the CEO as the US crypto industry comes under increased scrutiny for the recent administration.

Faryar Shirzad has 15 years of experience as Goldman Sachs’ co-head of government affairs. Moreover, Shirzad had also worked as a White House deputy national security adviser at the time of the George W. Bush administration. And before the White House, he also was the assistant secretary for the important administration at the United States Department of Commerce. Hence, now he will be looking to leverage his past experience to help the exchange. However, according to the announcement, Faryar will join the exchange at the end of June and report to Paul Grewal, Chief Legal Officer of Coinbase.
