Bitcoin 2021: Miami all set to become the next crypto hotspot

Miami is the venue for a crucial two-day bitcoin conference. It is another sign that Miami is on the path of becoming the next big cryptocurrency hub and is in the midst of a tech boom. People in droves have descended on the city for the massive two days conference. Among the attendees included billionaire entrepreneur Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter, Tyler Winklevoss (L) and Cameron Winklevoss (R), founders of Gemini. City Mayor Francis Suarez wants to turn Miami into a techno hub and cryptocurrency centre. The multicultural workforce combined with an investor-friendly tax code makes Miami very attractive to techno investors. 

Cryptocurrency a feature of the intensive techno era

Cryptocurrency has become synonymous with the intensive techno era we are living in today. These sentiments were echoed by the co-founder of Twitter, billionaire entrepreneur Jack Dorsey. Talking before a crowded auditorium, Dorsey said that he is working on one of his most important tasks and Bitcoin. Nothing offers more flexibility than what Bitcoin offers. Dorsey was one of the keynote speakers at Bitcoin 2021. He said that there is no need for any financial institutions available today. Bitcoin cryptocurrency is thriving, and it is owned and driven by the community. He also revealed that he is considering making a hardware wallet to store bitcoins safely. 

Bitcoin is gold 2.0.

Tyler Winklevoss (L) and Cameron Winklevoss (R), founders of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini labelled bitcoin as gold 2.0. The event had more than 12000 participants and was completely sold out. The Bitcoin 2021 trade fair has exhibits from crypto mining companies, crypto traders and bitcoin exchange networks. The conference was scheduled to take place in Los Angeles, but the venue was shifted because of stricter Covid-19 protocols in the city. 

Two of the other speakers were Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss. The twin is batchmates of Mark Zuckerberg, who sued him over claims he stole the idea for Facebook from them. The duo now runs cryptocurrency exchange Gemini. Tyler termed Cryptocurrency as Gold 2.0. He also labelled Bitcoin as the currency which will be used once humanity colonizes Mars.
