The launch comes at an appropriate time with the Euro 2020 championship in progress; Sorare wants to cash on this occasion. The blockchain-based fantasy soccer game franchise has announced the licensing agreement for the French Football Federation to issue non-fungible tokens (NFT) for its players.
Sorare, in an announcement, said that Fédération Française De Football or French Football Federation FFF is launching its players NFT or Non Fungible Tokens before the team’s encounter with Germany on Tuesday. Les Bleus players, as the French players are nicknamed because of the color of their shirts, are playing in the 2020 Union of European Football Associations European Football Championship. The championship was postponed last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
