GeoScan was launched for the users of GeoCash on Friday. The hotly anticipated Geo Network app GeoScan has been released by GeoDB in collaboration with AboutGood Company. The latest application helps to keep track of the user’s expenses. Moreover, the application will also give GEOs for sharing shopping details. Notably, the app will anonymize the data and share it with AboutGoods. However, at first, the firm application will be available for users in France.
How will GeoScan help its users?
GeoScan is an android and iOS mobile application. The users can share their shopping receipts and few profile data to exchange personalized stats. Hence, the factor will help the users to manage and keep track of their expenses. Moreover, sharing receipts will also help the users earn GEOs.
What will GeoDB do with the data?
The users will first have to accept that they want to share their shopping receipt. The GeoScan application will then anonymize the receipt of the user and share it with AboutGood Company.
AboutGood will analyze the receipt of the users using artificial intelligence techniques. However, after analyzing the data, AboutGood will share the result with the GeoDB ecosystem. Indeed, if the information remains correct, the receipt will be uploaded in the app to be rewarded by the smart contract.
The latest app has been integrated with GeoCash
Individuals globally are keen to use the application of GeoDB ecosystems, but they don’t have much idea about digital currencies or have a digital wallet. Following the scenario, GeoScan has integrated the GeoCash which has some fundamentals about virtual currency. Indeed, the factor allows the users of the applications to create a wallet and claim the obtained rewards.
GeoDB users will have full anonymity
Each user of the GeoScan application will be able to log in with their Apple or Google accounts. After login to the application, the users will receive a temporary token that creates a pseudo-user. Indeed, the factor will assure that neither GeoDB nor AboutGood will be able to store our confidential data.
ON the other hand, the application never asks for any personal information or identity-related details of any user. However, the form contains some information fields but a user can ignore those as they are not mandatory. However, if these users share such detail the fact will help the app to provide better stats.
Users can get two types of stats
GeoScan users are provided with two types of personalized stats. Such stats include the rewards and receipts. The users can view stats in a week, a month, and a year. Indeed, the main screen shows details about the total GEOs earned by the user. Later users can view some essential information about the receipt they have shared. Soon the users will be able to compare their data with others in their region.
Who can access the application?
GeoScan has been rolled out for global users. However, in the current scenario, the app has been offered to the residents of France only. The team behind the project is seeking buyers ready to buy their data. Following the scenario, the developers have a concentration in the region to start. After observing more interest from different countries the ecosystem will continue to expand. GeoDB has plans to bring real adoption to the entire ecosystem.
