  • In comparison to other cryptocurrencies, Cuban claims dogecoin offers a unique use case
  • Dogecoin, according to Cuban, is the only cryptocurrency that people actively use for commerce
  • Bitcoin, the most valuable cryptocurrency by market capitalization, is viewed by Cuban as a digital form of gold

When it comes to using dogecoin as a payment method, Tesla CEO Elon Musk and Shark Tank star Mark Cuban consider it as the strongest cryptocurrency. The NBA franchise Dallas Mavericks will offer special pricing for people who pay with dogecoin to further promote the adoption of the cryptocurrency. According to club owner Mark Cuban, after accepting dogecoin as payment for products in March, the Dallas Mavericks have witnessed significant sales of the meme-inspired cryptocurrency. In order to keep this momentum going, Cuban stated on Thursday that during the Mavericks’ summer sale, dogecoin holders will receive special prices.

Elon Musk and Mark Cuban agree that Dogecoin is the strongest cryptocurrency medium of exchange

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, and Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the NBA team Dallas Mavericks, have both stated that the meme cryptocurrency dogecoin is the strongest cryptocurrency for paying for goods and services. In an interview with CNBC Make It on Friday, Cuban praised DOGE. He noted that the community for doge is the strongest when it comes to using it as a medium of exchange, noting that dogecoin is a medium that can be used to buy products and services.

Musk, who is also known as the Dogefather, responded to Cuban’s comment on dogecoin by tweeting: he has been saying this for a while. Musk reinforced his support for Dogecoin in July by altering his profile photo to a Shiba Inu dog, which represents Doge. Tesla’s technoking recently confirmed that he holds dogecoin and will not sell it. X A-12, his infant son, also owns DOGE. Musk has also been lobbying for upgrades to the Doge. The Mavericks of Cuba began accepting dogecoin in March. Since then, the Shark Tank star has stated that DOGE has generated significant sales. He even asked Ellen Degeneres, the prominent talk show host, to accept it.

Cuban to make special announcement to promote Dogecoin

To further promote the use of dogecoin for payment, Cuban tweeted on Thursday that the Mavericks will make a special announcement about the cryptocurrency. He dubbed it a summer retail sale, with special pricing for dogecoin users. Some others disagree with Cuban and Musk on the value of dogecoin, claiming that it has an infinite supply. The limitless supply argument, on the other hand, did not dampen Cuban support for Doge.

Kevin O’Leary, Cuban’s Shark Tank co-star, is among those who are sceptical of the meme cryptocurrency. He recently stated that he will not invest in the dogecoin cryptocurrency. He’s baffled as to why somebody would do such a thing. When it comes to speculating on something like dogecoin, O’Leary says it’s no different than going to Las Vegas and betting on red or black. It’s just conjecture at this point. According to a recent poll conducted by Finder, a panel of experts predicts that the price of dogecoin would reach $1.21 by 2025 and $3.60 by 2030.
