Moonriver Network is the sister network of the Moonbeam, which is an Ether compatible smart contracts platform. The companion network of Moonbeam provides an incentivized canary network. The smart contract platform of the network has successfully secured a Kusama parachain slot auction. Hence, the protocol is now live on the Kusama network.
Moonbeam with Kusama is forging the multichain future
Last week, the Moonriver Network tweeted to announce that the protocol is live on Kusama Network. Hence, the network will now together build the multichain future. Notably, the launch was stimulated by a community-focused crowd loan hosted by the Moonbeam Foundation.
The blockchain has received a total of 2,05,935.0111 KSM. Moreover, it is also disclosed that 5,977 contributors across the globe have helped the network amass such an amount.
MOVR for contribution to Moonriver crowd loan
All the contributors of the community-focused crowd loan have earned MOVR, the native crypto token of Moonriver. The MOVR token will support the benefactors, and they can now use the tokens to connect with the network. Indeed, such tokens can be used for the built-in functionalities of the project.
The network is shaping the future of parachains
Moonriver is formulating susceptible ETH developer tools. Such tools are letting the developers and projects construct. Moreover, it is redeploying the Solidity projects under a Substrate-based infrastructure.
Ultimately, the project is shaping the future of the park chains while allowing a straightforward transmission from Ether to Kusama. It also guarantees minimal reconfiguration.
Over 60 projects can initiate deployments
Moonriver is a blockchain of its kind that can keep things running smoothly thanks to Ether’s support. Notably, as the project is now live on the Kusama Network, more than 60 projects in the Moonbeam ecosystem can commence deployment of their smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps) in a permissionless posture.
On the other hand, the platform will also introduce an embedded integration for all ERC-20 tokens and KSM tokens. Moreover, the integration will help bridge the gaps to connect to other networks like BTC.
