A lost stockpile of bitcoins that had been dormant for eight years and four months awoke for the first time since the wallet’s establishment on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Btcparser.com captured the action, and the enormous whale spent 2,207 bitcoins valued over $147 million. On July 10, 2013, the initial address was created, containing about 2,207.60 BTC, which was divided into two addresses. The first output sent 300 bitcoins, while the second output sent 1,907.5997 bitcoins, with the remaining cash going to network fees.

On Blockchair’s privacy-o-meter transaction tool, the privacy of the 2013 transaction received a score of 45. A total of three vulnerabilities were uncovered in the $147 million transaction, one of which had matching addresses. Today’s whale activity is identical to the dormant address change that occurred in May 2021 with a wallet from the same year. The activity from bitcoins gained in 2013 witnessed re-distribution transfer at the time. Following the 20 block reward whale spent at about 1:30 a.m. on July 10, 2013, a total of 2,207 bitcoins worth over $147 million were moved from an address generated on July 10, 2013.

On Blockchair’s privacy-o-meter, the 20 decade-old block rewards spent on Wednesday received a critical privacy score and a zero. The transaction, which involved the transfer of 1,000 BTC in 2010, had a total of five privacy flaws. The 2013 whale move did not affect the BCH or BSV, unlike the 1,000 BTC transfer, which saw the matching BCH transferred but not the 1,000 bitcoins. Today, there are 2,207 bitcoin cash worth $1.5 million and 2,207 bitcoins valued at $426,000 waiting to be spent in the original address. Between the 2010 and 2013 whales, just two corporations exchanged 3,207 BTC, while BTC soared above $69K on Wednesday. BTC fell to a low of $62,857 at 4:30 p.m. on November 10 after reaching the $69K level.
