NFT collaborations help Adidas penetrate the Metaverse

Adidas said on Thursday that it will be joining the Metaverse in conjunction with the Bored Ape Yacht Club, gmoney NFT, and PUNKS Comic. The initiative’s developers said the following in an article on the Adidas mobile app that Adidas, which is known for championing ideas on the cutting edge of innovation, is settling down at the cutting edge of creativity this autumn, the Metaverse. What are we aiming for there? To see each and every one of its residents prosper. A Metaverse is a place where everyone, in any form, may express their most unique ideas and be their most true selves. Those pioneers may own a portion of what they build owing to the blockchain. 

A section of the Bored Ape nonfungible token (NFT) has been redesigned to include Adidas’ famous tracksuit in the article. More than 10,000 NFTs have been generated on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain by the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Meanwhile, gmoney is a well-known cryptocurrency and NFT influencer who has been on Fortune’s NFTy 50 list. Finally, PUNKS Comic creates crypto comics by combining the worlds of NFTs with actual comic books. NFT sales are expected to hit a record high of $18 billion by the end of the year, according to news, making the industry one of crypto’s top performers.

The three partners were shown with the business’s signature Trefoil emblem in a video posted to Twitter by the company. Today, they took their first steps into the metaverse. It’s time to go into a world of restricted options, it said. A Bored Ape cartoon figure sporting an Adidas track jacket emblazoned with Punks Comic and Gmoney’s trademarks was added to the sportswear giant’s Twitter profile image in addition to the announcement.
