NFTs revolution is here, and enthusiasts in the cryptosphere are more bullish on these crypto collectibles. Since the beginning of this year, the industry has seen immense growth, as several tokens were sold for millions of dollars. Following the craze for digital collectibles, many creators pitched their NFT drops. Simultaneously, Happy Box Media had hosted a very triumphant “NFT99” exhibition earlier last month. The Non-Fungible Token exhibition from November 6 to 8 was blossoming on Clubhouse, the social platform based on voice.
Following the sensation of the previous event, Happy Box Media unveiled plans to introduce its second phase. The NFT99 exhibition 2.0, which is known as “Everest”, will be hosted from December 18, 2021.
NFT99 version 2.0 – “Everest”
Happy Box Media visioned to organize an online exhibition for three days. The event will be hosted for barren collectors in the traditional market who collect physical art to come on board. The brains behind the event decided to pick 99 artists. According to Boon Kuang Han, a.k.a BK Han, the founder of Happy Box Media:
“If you know in Chinese numerology, 99 means longevity. So, a nice number of 99 is a longevity number. I am so having that as an auspicious number. And also because, like I just explained to you, I’m familiar with doing long hours, 72 hour live streaming. So give that long hour performance to get a lot of people to come on board. So 99 is a good number. 99 NFT creators come together from different parts of the world.”
Why is the second NFTs event known as “Everest”?
According to BK Han, when they were doing the NFT99, the first exhibition, they were not anticipating such an upbeat turnout. Over the first half of n’ hour, the event accumulated significant exposure. Following the creators coming on board and publicizing their artworks, many participants at the time were observed as being very keen, and they could not skip the event.
Moreover, many of the devotees present at the time asked Han about when he would be hosting another such event. And it was then, Han decided to host another similar event before Christmas. According to Han:
“I thought, okay, we are coming to the end of the Year and Christmas, so I decided to have one just before Christmas and then because it’s near the end of the year, we want to do like the last event.”
Han decided to name the event Everest following the height of the mountain. Han desired that the event should gain more exposure and reach the highest tip. Hence they used the word “Everest”.
The event has a standard procedure
All the 99 NFTs creators will have 30 minutes to come online with a moderator obliging them. Notably, the presiders would be already familiar with moderating on the platform of Clubhouse. According to Han, as each creator will get half n’ hour, it will take roughly 48 hours to 50 hours.
Besides, the exhibition will also have a few non-NFT creators like the NFT platform Kalamint. Notably, Kalamint CEO Christopher Deschenes, who also came on board in the last event, will join this time. Moreover, the event will retain some musicians who will be playing instruments just to delight the audience.
The upcoming event will be hosted on Metaverse Generation, Happy Box Media’s official Clubhouse. Notably, The Coin Republic is going to be the official media partner of “Everest” on Metaverse Generation.
According to Han, “The Coin Republic has so-called shooting us as a media partner. It is a place where information is provided to people who need it, especially on crypto or crypto-related products. A lot of people who are into crypto also want to learn about NFT. The people who are not in crypto also want to deliver NFT. So I think having a partnership with The Coin Republic is definitely a plus. Because I will be able to bring in a lot of entity creators to come on board.”
