Launched April 2021, Hachiko quickly found itself swamped by the tide of Doge-inspired meme tokens launching around it. But a new Hachiko community has formed months on from the tokens initial release and taken its story of loyalty to heart. A roadmap was recently revealed, developers have been recruited, a Techrate token audit has been commissioned, and socials rebuilt and revitalised. Within 3 months the new team of Hachiko community volunteers and blockchain visionaries have delivered a host of usable tech developments, with a close eye on investor and user safety. In fact, you’d be hard pushed to find this much momentum and transparancy in any crypto project today! Bubble maps by Moonlight recently released data on the project showing decentralisation of Hachiko wallet addresses. Their findings were conclusive! They deem Hachiko an incredibly safe project – with no fake wallets or whales accumulating large amounts of supply. Hachiko was fair launched as a community coin from inception, its dev renouncing ownership and supply locked in a Pancakeswap liquidity pool. As for shuttered admin groups and easily defrauded marketing wallets – they don’t exist in Hachiko! Community members agree on actions and fund them through personal contributions, making the project truly decentralised. So what exactly has fuelled the recent Hachiko renaissance? Is it the Hachiko story? The fact that the token underperformed last year against its rivals? Perhaps it’s to do with their burn tokenomics and depleting supply? The tokens phoenix move seems to pivot on these observations, but there is something more… The Hachiko community are collectively self-funding and building a decentralised ecosystem for token holders. More than that they want to house them (alongside verified partner dapps) within a decentralised AR wallet for Google Playstore users to download, reaching out to a new audience not familiar with the crypto space. Seems ambitious? Hachiko became the first BSC token to jump to another chain just this week with the launch of wrapped Hachiko on Ethereum – another one of their new roadmap goals swiftly achieved. They also have their sights set on Richard Heart’s emerging Pulsechain for their next chainbreak! The team seems committed, open to discussion, and enthusiastic. Once their infrastructure plans are completed I can see many more new community members investing both time and money building bold new dapps for its future!
