This is the vision Mark Zuckerberg has for Metaverse

Zuckerberg was recently interviewed on the podcast “The Tim Ferriss Show.” He talked a lot about the Metaverse and what he thinks it will be like in the future.

Facebook, as it was originally known, was launched in 2004. It renamed itself, Meta, last year and announced its vision for the digital world.

The company’s 100,000 employees are now concentrating their efforts on developing new ways to work, play, and live in the Metaverse.

Users can be at multiple places at the same time

Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s founder, chairman, and CEO has shared his vision for Metaverse’s future.

He believes that the Metaverse will lead to a more vibrant economy in which people can engage in activities that are intellectually or physically stimulating to them. 

Zuckerberg claims that he took inspiration for his AR and VR strategy from fiction literature and that humans should be able to be in multiple places at once.

“There are all these reasons why being able to be present in another place, no matter what the situation is, is incredibly useful for individuals,” he told Ferris, adding that he frequently goes into VR from his home in Hawaii.

“You don’t have to be in a dystopian circumstance to be present with another person you care about, or an opportunity that is better somewhere,” Zuckerberg remarked on the podcast.

Making Metaverse more realistic

Zuckerberg is working to make the Metaverse more realistic, from hand movements to the ability to make digital eye contact.

One of VR’s greatest achievements is how widely it has become available. Previously, a VR set had to be connected to a computer, but now it may be powered by a microchip.

However, one of the most serious difficulties still exists. Everyone reacts differently to VR in terms of the overall experience. Many VR users have complained of motion sickness, which the Meta team is presently working to resolve.

Internal corporate values

Meta has established internal corporate values that include employees using the items they are developing. Employees may directly examine what is working and what is not, allowing the organization to have a speedier feedback loop.

To make this transformation, the organization conducts ongoing analyses to determine which processes are effective and which are not.

Moving as rapidly as possible is one of the most significant values. “Move fast” has evolved into a value that motivates employees to build and learn faster than anybody else.
