One of the most popular and anticipated lawsuit cases in crypto space, Ripple vs SEC lawsuit is pacing towards decision, but a bit slower. In that case, many experts and analysts predicted the result in advance where most of them thought it could turn out to be a win for Ripple Labs. Joining the series, prominent reporter from Fox, Eleanor Terett has shared her expectations from the Ripple vs SEC case during upcoming case hearings and court decisions.

As per Terett, there are two most crucial and highly anticipated decisions at the time. First one is the decision of Judge Netburn on deciding whether or not the emails and documents belonging to Hinman fall under the directly or in any section of attorney client privilege. Second factor is waiting for the decision of Judge Torres regarding the motion of Security and Exchange Commission towards sealing its opposition to the request of CryptoLaw founder, John Deaton where he asked to file an impartial adviser on the expert witness of agency, Patrick Doody.

Further, the Fox reporter also shares the revelation that both the decisions are now bound to come soon and they might come by this week’s end. As it was reported earlier, the US SEC has tried and made a lot of effort to keep the emails secret as they contained the draft of speech that Hinman had given. For this, the agency has tried and attempted to make the Judge believe that the defendants are requesting for the documents that fall under the coverage of attorney-client privilege. However after the argument on this deliberate process privilege (DPP), the court had rejected it.

The SEC after this has been asked by defendants to provide around ten documents that would assist the court to come up with its decision. Moreover, Judge Sarah Netburn Also went on to conduct a conference call to look into document release earlier this month.

Correspondents of Fox, Eleanor Terrett and Charles Gasparino have indicated that the speech that former employee at Securities and exchange Commission, William Bill Hinman had given four years ago, may decide the result of this case ultimately.
