BlackRock Being Highly Bullish On Bitcoin

  • Ramji has given his statement after pushing the new update in Blackrock. The company has finally launched an ETF that tracks a basket of 41 blockchain-related companies. 
  • As of now, Blackrock is not a cryptocurrency in itself. Ramji has clarified that they have no further intentions of launching a Bitcoin product.
  • In April, BlackRock entered into a partnership with USD Coin issuer Circle, which includes capital-market applications for the second-largest stablecoin.

Salim Ramji On Bitcoin

In a recent interview, the global head of ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds), Salim Ramji has been very optimistic about the growth of the most famous cryptocurrency, bitcoin. 

The subject of bitcoin is very controversial. Either you are extremely bullish on it, or you are extremely against it. 

He expressed his views on bitcoin being highly disruptive and innovative.

Ramji has given his statement after pushing the new update in Blackrock. The company has finally launched an ETF that tracks a basket of 41 blockchain-related companies. 

Among the products holdings, the biggest share has been taken by Coinbase, which is the largest crypto exchange in the United States.

BlackRock Is Not A Crypto Right Now

As of now, Blackrock is not a cryptocurrency in itself. Ramji has clarified that they have no further intentions of launching a Bitcoin product.

They have clearly stated that they are not interested in following the market hypes and trends. This is due to the regulatory compliances and security measures which the corporations represents. 

In April, BlackRock entered into a partnership with USD Coin issuer Circle, which includes capital-market applications for the second-largest stablecoin.

Blacrock, being the world’s largest asset manager has boasted around 10 trillion dollar worth of assets, in Bitcoin futures last year.

But it is yet to focus on the most famous cryptocurrency in many other ways.
