  • The NFT NYC has been in the limelight among Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) enthusiasts.
  • But it seems like Goblintown and Doodles, two of the most popular NFT projects, had more of the limelight.
  • NFTs are gaining quite popularity in recent times as many new projects have emerged and are still emerging.

The NFT NYC has been in the limelight amongst the Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) enthusiasts, and those following it on Twitter might have made certain assumptions. It might have been that the event was a failure. There were even some who made sarcastic and funny comments about the Ape Fest.

There was even a viral tweet that asserted that the NFT NYC had already failed, which was on Monday, just the beginning of the week.

But a Tweet by Amy Wu from FTX Ventures highlighted something that is completely opposite from the hate and criticisms. She highlighted that people told her NFT NYC would be weird because crypto was dead and that she’s happy to report that the opposite happened.

Folks proudly pumped their JPEGs at panels, lunches, and parties. There were a lot of Punks, Apes, Gutter Cats, and Cool Cats. People discussed NFTs with utility, like tickets to IRL events and other possible use cases more than just money.

Two parties were in the limelight associated with the two most popular NFT collections right now.

Doodles, a popular NFT collection, was a center of attraction as it held a kickoff party at the Palladium Theatre in Times Square. Later a PowerPoint presentation by the Doodles CEO Julian Holguin was presented with a slide reminding what the project has achieved till now and a lot more.

Furthermore, the Goblintown party was being held at Terminal 5, and the contrast was like night and day, which reportedly was more like a community vibe. Though this project is quite distinct as it is inspired by urine and nihilism, the party has a vibe.

Though NFTs are gaining quite a traction and frenzy, recently, there was news that some celebs have also been losing confidence in them as they have abandoned their NFTs. Basically, NFTs are getting mixed reactions amidst the bearish market and several other things in the industry.
